One Era releases “Helping Hands” EP. This EP from our very own One Era aka Matt Coogan is a four track Nu-disco pop leaning release, but we like to call Matt’s unique style of music “Emo Funk”. Matt sings on these bright tunes which recall the intersection of disco and pop found on groovy late 70s AOR (album oriented rock) jams. Matt says of this cohesive set of tunes, “I enjoyed making it. It’s like personal ‘from the heart’ type of shit. Kinda stuff that is like therapy to write. Chas Bronz teams up with GMGN on the “Flame The Fans” EP. Available now on Traxsource, this EP covers a lot of ground from sultry R&B led glitch house to high NRG French Touch. Our very own Chas Bronz aka Tate Masimore stars on two cuts, “Oh Yelo” and “A Taste of Space” with hot guitar licks and more instrumentation which make this release essential for cosmic dancefloor vibes. GMGN, aka Ben Adams, is a friend of FSQ’s and a colleague of Chuck Da Fonk via their DJ appearances on The Face Radio.
