FSQ Parties in NYC - August 2023
FSQ’s Chuck Da Fonk returns to New York City for a FSQ parties in NYC the first week of August 2023. He’ll also be working on the next FSQ album “Nightlife Geography” at Transmitter Park Studios with Morgan Wiley and special guests.

Thursday, August 3rd
RADIO SESSION: FSQ with Chuck Da Fonk LIVE at The Face Radio Studios 📻 3pm-6pm ET
PARTY: FSQ, W. Andrew Raposo, Miss Alicia at Sleepwalk NYC in Brooklyn (Montrose Ave L Stop at Bushwick Ave).
Chuck is super excited to reconnect with W. Andrew Raposo of Midnight Magic and 79.5. They shared a live band billing at Soul Clap Records’ 11 year anniversary party earlier this year and Andrew has been instrumental in production and engineering of past FSQ original and remix tracks. FSQ recently remixed 79.5’s “BDFQ” for release later this year. Expect DJ sets buoyed by disco, funk, house, Balearic, New wave, and general “danciness”.
Friday, August 4th
SUNSET DJ ROOFTOP SET: Chuck returns to the glamorous Brooklyn Bridge set 1 Hotel and their rooftop lounge / bar, Harriet’s, for a sunset DJ set outdoors 6pm-10pm FREE, RSVP for a table.
Saturday, August 5th
LEO PARTY: Chuck enters his birthday week and celebrates with birthday man and fellow Leo, Project Matt. Hosted by DJ Nope and Tomin8r at the wonderful draft cocktail bar, Wandering Barman on Meserole Street right in the heart of the debate on whether that’s Bushwick / East Williamsburg - off Bushwick avenue also near Montrose Ave L stop. 9pm-2am.
Sunday, August 6th
2ND ANNUAL CHUCK DA FONK NYC BIRTHDAY JAM: Chuck returns for his 2nd Annual Birthday JAM at Jupiter Disco for a sleazy disco-house-funk affair that follows Soul Clap’s day party at Public Works. 10pm til as late as y’all wanna rock it (ok, well 4am) just keep the dancefloor jamming! Opening set by the stellar SHEZUS THRICE.
