This week, the mountains above Los Angeles display a deep coat of fresh snowy white powder, and host Chuck Da Fonk draws musical inspiration from this unique state of weather by spinning songs with titles that include “snow,” “Los Angeles,” and “California.”

This episode features a special dig into the 1980s catalog of jazz giant Wayne Shorter who passed away just hours before Chuck began broadcasting. With FSQ teaming up with Italian producer Daniel Monaco this weekend at the Ace Hotel Los Angeles for a rooftop party, Chuck serves up some of Daniel Monaco’s diverse productions.
